Mama's Pantry

Mama’s Pantry is designed to meet the needs of clients who do not need meal deliveries, but can benefit from occasional nutrition support to maintain their health and stretch their food budget. Once a month, clients can visit Mama’s Pantry and select their own non-perishable items such as cereals, pastas and canned goods from a wide selection.

A case manager’s referral is not needed to receive services at the pantry, but you must meet the following eligibility qualifications:

1) Provide written proof of being HIV-positive or having AIDS
2) Provide written proof of income
3) Provide written proof of residency in San Diego County

Since our first day of operations, we have never turned away anyone qualified for our services and we are determined that we never will.
