Empty Bowls Fundraiser at Coronado High School | April 27, 2017
Coronado High School Quad 5-7 p.m.– Empty Bowls is a project where Coronado High School Ceramics students create over 1,000 bowls for a charity event on April 27th to raise money to feed and support the Food Insecure in San Diego. Last year the event made over $13,500 and since 2007 has provided more than Half a million Meals in San Diego. Mama’s Kitchen and 3 other organizations will benefit from this fundraiser. $20 buys a handmade bowl filled with gourmet soup and bread donated by 10 local restaurants. There will be music performed by students, a silent auction, and an art show creating a fun family friendly event. The event draws hundreds of Coronado locals every year! We look forward to seeing you April 27th!
Get involved! Host a food drive this July in honor of Independence Day, or turn your Fourth of July get-together into a fundraiser for Mama’s Kitchen. Party with a purpose by asking friends and family to bring canned and dry goods, or monetary donations, for Mama’s Pantry. We are happy to deliver food bins to your location and pick them up when your food drive is over. Please give us a call at 619-233-6262 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
You can also create your own Virtual Food Drive page if you would like to support Mama’s Pantry and take advantage of our bulk purchasing. Your donation dollars go directly to the purchase of food and are stretched further by our ability to use wholesale prices.
