Get Involved

Our dedicated team of volunteers makes it possible for Mama’s Kitchen to provide the nutrition and compassion to the men, women and children of San Diego who are affected by AIDS or cancer. Every week day, our volunteers give their time and energy helping to prepare meals, pack grocery bags, answer phones and deliver meals.

On weekends our volunteers operate food drives for our Pantry at local super markets. Special Events and Committee volunteers help out at various locations and times throughout the year.

Our family of volunteers provides critical support for our mission and all the difference in the lives of our clients, whether they volunteer for a few hours a day, a week or a month. Many of our volunteers have made new friends that last a lifetime!
