Volunteer Orientation

Thank you for taking the first step in joining Mama’s Kitchen’s Family of Volunteers.

Below is a list of New Volunteer Orientation dates and times... just pick the one most convenient for you. All Orientation sessions are held at our main facility, 3960 Home Avenue, San Diego, CA 92105. Orientations are held in our Community Room with the entrance off our parking lot on Beech Street.

As a volunteer-driven, not-for-profit organization, Mama's Kitchen respects the right to privacy of all citizens, but also has a responsibility to make every attempt to provide the safest environment for our clients and volunteers.  As a result of this responsibility, staff and volunteers are required to participate in reference checks.  Please be prepared to provide us with the names and email addresses of two people whom we may contact.  These should not be relatives, but should be teachers, employers or other community members.
