Volunteer Orientation

Thank you for taking the first step in joining Mama’s Kitchen’s Family of Volunteers.

Below is a list of New Volunteer Orientation dates and times... just pick the one most convenient for you. All Orientation sessions are held at our main facility, 1875 Second Avenue, San Diego, CA 92101. We are located on the ground floor of the church building at the corner of Second and Fir. Please use the adjacent parking lot and enter at that same level.

As a volunteer-driven, not-for-profit organization, Mama's Kitchen respects the right to privacy of all citizens, but also has a responsibility to make every attempt to provide the safest environment for our clients and volunteers.  As a result of this responsibility, staff and volunteers are required to participate in reference checks.  Please be prepared to provide us with the email addresses of two people whom we may contact.  These should not be relatives, but should be teachers, employers or other community members.
