Mama’s Kitchen Will Serve as a Featured Speaker and the Beneficiary of a Special Food Drive
SAN DIEGO, Calif.- April 15, 2004 - Mama’s Kitchen, a volunteer driven, not-for-profit organization that provides meal delivery service to men, women, and children living with HIV/AIDS in San Diego County, announced today that they will be participating in the 6th Annual Cause Conference.
The 6th Annual Cause Conference is the West Coast’s largest marketing partnership conference produced by the San Diego American Marketing Association and San Diego’s KGTV Channel 10.
Mama’s Kitchen will participate in the conference by serving as a featured speaker and by conducting a special food drive at the event. The organization’s participation in this prestigious conference will help generate increased public awareness of the valuable service that Mama’s Kitchen provides in San Diego.
“Our partnership with the San Diego American Marketing Association is a terrific example of a marketing partnership between two entities for mutual benefit,” said Alberto Cortes, executive director of Mama’s Kitchen. “We encourage for-profit and non-profit companies to participate in this excellent conference to learn more about the benefits of marketing partnerships.”
Conference attendees will be asked to support the San Diego American Marketing Association’s partnership with Mama’s Kitchen by bringing a food donation to the conference. People living with AIDS have special nutritional needs, so Mama’s Kitchen requests donations of cereal, pasta, peanut butter, and soup.
