Join Mama’s Kitchen for "The Coolest Event of the Year"
WHAT: Join Mama’s Kitchen and 65 of San Diego ’s finest restaurants for a night San Diego is sure to remember! This year’s Mama’s Day, the annual fundraising event put on by Mama’s Kitchen, will mark the 13 th annual celebration.
Each year, San Diego’s finest restaurants present their best dishes to help support the Mama’s Kitchen mission of providing food and nutrition to people affected by HIV/AIDS all over San Diego County.
Over 700 people are expected to attend.

WHY: With tickets prices set at $100 per person, funds raised at Mama’s Day help support Mama’s Kitchen programs year-round.

About Mama's Kitchen
Mama's Kitchen was founded in 1990 when volunteers from the AIDS Assistance Fund, a food bank for people with AIDS, discovered that many of their clients were becoming too ill to take care of themselves. They realized that a reliable home meal delivery service was needed to ensure that these individuals would continue to receive nutritious food. Today, Mama's Kitchen prepares and delivers three meals a day for every day of the week to about 300 men, women, and children affected by AIDS or other critical illnesses in San Diego County.
