At Mama's Kitchen we believe that every person is entitled to the basic necessity of life, nutritious food. As a volunteer-driven, nonprofit organization, we prepare and deliver food to men, women and children who are affected by AIDS or cancer.

Coupon Wars
Calling All Coupon Clippers!
Love to save with coupons? Get your scissors ready and use your couponing prowess to stock the shelves of Mama's Pantry. We're holding a Couponing Contest and will crown the winner in April. The winner will receive 2 complimentary tickets to Mama's Day, San Diego's premiere restaurant tasting event. Use your coupons between now and April 3 to buy any of the items on Mama's Pantry Wish List, and bring your food in to Mama's Pantry by Tuesday, April 3. Contest details below:
- Whoever saves the most amount of money using coupons wins the Coupon Crown and two complimentary tickets to Mama's Day.
- Purchase any foods listed on Mama's Pantry Wish List.

Host a 'Month of Love' Food Drive for Mama's Pantry
February is the Month of Love. Show your support by helping to keep Mama's Pantry shelves stocked with nonperishable food items for our HIV/AIDS clients and their dependent families. We make it easy to host a food drive at your work, business, place of worship or community center. We'll deliver empty food barrels and pick them up when they are full, as well as provide you with a list of the most needed items for our clients. Foundation Highlights
The Price Family Charitable Fund is a private family foundation created by Sol and Helen Price in 1983. The Price Family Charitable Fund's primary mission is to support nonprofit health and human service organizations in San Diego County.
The Price Family Charitable Fund recently awarded Mama's Kitchen a $25,000 grant in support of our Home Delivered Meals service and overall mission. Mama's Kitchen is also pleased that our new home resides in City Heights, a community that has been transformed by the efforts of the Price Family.
Corporate Highlights
The Sempra Energy Foundation was founded on the principle that as an energy leader they can help make a difference by creating partnerships that produce sustainable and responsible change.
A longtime supporter of Mama's Kitchen, Sempra Energy is committed to giving back to the organizations near and dear to their employees' hearts. Mama's Kitchen was awarded a total of $6,000 in support of our Home Delivered Meals Service as part of their foundation's grant and Seasons of Giving programs. Thank you to Sempra and the dedicated volunteers who give to Mama's Kitchen.
