Mama’s Pantry is available to those who are HIV positive and whose income does not exceed $1,500 per month. Once a month, clients can visit Mama’s Pantry at 3960 Home Avenue, San Diego 92105, and select their own non-perishable items such as cereals, pastas and canned goods from a wide selection. A limited number of perishable items, including meat, dairy, fresh fruit, and bread, are also available.
The Pantry is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. It is closed on Federal holidays.
A referral is not needed to receive services at the Pantry, but you must provide written proof of the following:
1) diagnosis of HIV positive or AIDS
2) income of $1,500 or less per month
3) San Diego County residency

We urge you to support Mama’s Pantry by sponsoring a food drive at your business, school or place of worship. It’s easy! We’ll deliver food bins to your location and pick them up when your food drive is over. Please give us a call at 619-233-6262 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. Our current needs may be found at our Pantry Wish List or by visiting our Virtual Food Drive.
Our Virtual Food Drive
If you would like to support Mama’s Pantry and take advantage of our bulk purchasing, please make a donation to our Virtual Food Drive. Your donation dollars go directly to the purchase of food and are stretched further by our ability to use wholesale prices.
You can also host your own virtual food drive. It’s easy! Create your own Virtual Food Drive page and share it with your co-workers, friends, family, school, or place of worship.
