Mama’s Day, San Diego’s most popular culinary and social event benefiting Mama’s Kitchen, will take place on Friday, May 12 at the Hyatt Regency La Jolla. Now in its 26^th year, the Mama’s Day fundraiser is a major source of funding for Mama’s Kitchen, where San Diego’s finest chefs will serve guests delectable samples of their signature dishes. Mama’s Day 2017 is presented by Nordstrom and hosted by Sycuan, two long-time supporters of Mama’s Kitchen. This year’s event is chaired by long-time volunteer Jennifer Kearns, who has served Mama’s Kitchen for over two decades as a donor and board member, as well as president of the board in 2007 and Mama’s Day co-chair in 2008. Jennifer, a partner at Duane Morris LLP, recently returned to the Mama’s Kitchen board of directors in 2014. The evening’s emcee is Vic Salazar, President and CEO of Vic Salazar Communications and former television news anchor.

Mama’s Day tickets are $150 in advance, $175 at the door, and $250 for VIP.
