On December 1st, join Mama’s Kitchen to commemorate Worlds AIDS Day by recognizing and remembering those affected by AIDS at our Tree of LifeCeremony in Village Hillcrest. The memorial will begin at 6:00 p.m. and is free and open to the public. It is an evening of special memories, singing, and sharing, and a candle lighting to honor those we’ve lost to the epidemic. The evening features special guest speakers and holiday music by the San Diego Gay Men’s Chorus.

Ornaments are available to personalize and hang on the tree at Village Hillcrest. A donation of $15 is requested for each ornament, or $25 for two. Personalized ornaments can be ordered online at mamaskitchen.org, or the evening of the event. All proceeds benefit the clients of Mama’s Kitchen.
